A new guest in our house

Beginning of the week, we have a new guest in the house.

His name is Siow Wei.

Siow Wei is the guy in the middle...our first supper together with him in the house...

He will be staying with us for about 2 to 3 weeks....couldn't really recall the time that he will stay with us.

Anyway, now that my car is in the workshop, it's good to have someone who has a car in the house.

We went to Taman Cheras (Yulek) for some nice hawker food....recommended by Baba Ho.

The Chee Cheong Fun and Ma lat Pan Mee are quite nice!

Anyway, since we have an addition into the family in Cendana Apartment, it's only right to introduce him here....:-P

Had a relaxing weekend at home though, with no car to go to anywhere...

Stronger

Sometimes life can be awful. Things can go terribly wrong.

A car accident, a summon (for not renewing license) on the same day could be bad enough. Then you have to have the courage to fix those mess....and one have to do it while busy with work. That was last week. One way to sum it all up: BAD WEEK!

Nevertheless, it was during this period that I see people who are being supportive. Family, friends and colleagues who really care about you.

I remembered how it used to work...whenever I had a problem, I would talked to my family, called LiangHin, talked about things and after setting the right perspective, I'm able to respond in the right manner.

But those days are in the past...I no longer discussed things over with people who support me. I still need help in areas that I'm weak at and I am grateful for those who are there for me.

But I am stronger now. I can respond to BAD/DISASTROUS circumstances on my own in the right way...I'll need the right perspective...that's the start of it. 

 

 

Hungry...what to eat?

Feeling hungry and not knowing what to eat at the moment...

It is sometimes quite terrible to be back KL...having to think what to eat...without my mom who would cook for the family....

Dinner in Aeon

Well, initially my family wanted to go to Dragon i for dinner...




But too many people were waiting outside...we decided to look for other makan place in Restaurant Street inside the mall...




I wonder why but there were so many people in Jusco today...decided to go for the only place with some places for us to sit...




We decided to dine in Wendy's...









No more fries so replace with nugget instead...




And YenLeng eating the burger...




Yummy!! Alright...enough of blogging...I decided to blog while waiting for the rest to finish their meal...

Watching "Expandables 2" tonight

Will be watching "Expandables 2" tonight with my family and YenLeng...

I'm looking forward to watch because I'm a big fan of Van Damme...well, he might be a villain in this movie but it's good to see him in action...

Back to Ipoh for rest

It is the Raya break....and that's right...another holiday session.
And I'm back to Ipoh for rest...the story is all too familiar?

I guess this is what happened as we grow older...everything become familiar and the same. 

Anyway, I'm glad to have this Raya break as I get to rest at home. Sleeping to recharge...going to church worship, seeing my family members and YenLeng....and maybe some time to look for my Ipoh friends.

Well, as I blog this from my brother's place, I just realized I had spent more than a day without doing anything productive...what a good way to rest....to just be lazy...will blog more about these period of rest...

 

 

Love

I know from the start that love is never fair,
And yet human beings chose to fall in love,
It was not an emotional and irrational decision,
It was a choice,
From the start,
Someone chose to love,
Someone chose to be loved,
Love was never a noun,
It has always been a Verb,
Requiring actions and choices being made,
Love is like a lot of things and yet so unlike a lot at the same time,
If one said that he/she has been hurt because of love, then perhaps it was never love from the beginning...it was lust!
Love is so much like lust and yet it is really so much different.

Because love is never fair...love will give knowing that it cannot receive...love will care knowing that the care might be in vain....yes, love is foolishness....but not by accident...by choice.

That's why I choose to love...it has always been a choice and I never regretted it...

New Season kick off in about a week's time

Well, it's the time of the year again...the new season kicking off in a week's time. 

Football action is back!!

I have just registered for the Fantasy Football...football life is back...no more boring nights...yay!!

And this time, Manchester United is back with a bang!
First game will be against Everton...bring em' on!

For those of you who feel that United is lack of stars, think again:

Have you forgot about Hernandez??

With no injury or fitness concern, we are likely to see Hernandez back in action in the starting 11....

And the man who has been the star during last season:

Wayne Rooney!! He might not shine in the England shirt but he has been going good with the Reds...

Wayne Rooney claimed that the team chemistry was amazing after coming back against Hannover 96. The strong and confidence look of United is a good indication...

The new star in United: Kagawa!!

Well, we have not really seen him in action against competitive teams for United but his performance had been amazing last season...it'll be great to see him bringing that form to the Reds...

And those of you who missed Vidic, he's back...

Let's not think it will be easy to score this time around...

It is good for the United defence to have Vidic back....someone who has a lot of experience would be good to help to calm the shaky young defenders in the Reds...

Then, someone is back and let's see if he can light us up like he did when he started for United: Tom Cleverley...

Ipoh: Dinner time then Starbucks

Well, dinner time in Ipoh was amazing this time around...

So, this is where we went....Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant...I'm not the kind of person who enjoy Korean or Japanese food....
But this is where we went...and I find it quite nice...

 The place was quite nice...and this was how the arrangement been made...

 Then, there are some amazing food available...

Very clean and amazing arrangement...

The foods are really quite nice and the waiters who served us even teach us how to eat the Korean food...

 

The BBQ is really quite nice....and this is how one should eat it.

The meat being mixed with vegetables and the right sauces...AMAZING!!

 And these are some of the other foods served...

The rice is pretty sweet though...

And once we're done with the BBQ meat, then it's the steamboat...it's really quite delicious...haha!!

And when we are done with our dinner, we went to the Station 18 Jusco...

Starbucks was our next destination...

We did not take any photos in Starbucks but we had the Mocha, Caramel Macchiatto, Ice Cafe Latte and also the Americano....it was during this time that I realize one of the best coffee in Starbucks is still the Americano....

it's been a long time since we had any snapshot together...

 

Ipoh: 2nd half of the day

Well, it is definitely tiring when it comes to moving...I didn't do much but still feel very tiring with the traveling and cleaning...








Well, feeling a bit happy while cleaning up the collection of ours...

Back Ipoh!! First part: Breakfast!!

Well, one of the best part being back in Ipoh is that I am familiar with everything here...

Today, I went to TM to help YenLeng upgrade the Internet connection for her...after that, it was breakfast...we had it in Wok With Kim!!




Yay!! So long didn't eat here...
